Steven J Hauck Sr.
In 1984 my father’s friend Stephen Gross needed a house moved. He insisted that I could move it. I was 23 years old and never moved a house. He would not take no for an answer. I found some old equipment for sale and watched Ranalli & Sons House Movers move a house in Brigantine (the son Nick Ranalli is today a valued part of my son’s house moving business). I loaded the house and moved it from Northfield to Pleasantville with two men on the roof lifting wires. Since 1984 I have been lifting and moving houses and bridges, executed major and minor structural repairs and completed all types of demolition. I am a professional in all aspects of residential and commercial buildings and foundations. In 2013 my son Steven J Hauck took over SJ Hauck House Movers and built what is today, SJ Hauck Construction.

Our Business
Steven Hauck Sr personally takes all phone calls, surveys, and engineers all job proposals. Once the job is under contract Hauck obtains the required permits. Hauck’s experienced foreman then proceeds with construction to completion. Steve Sr is available throughout the job for any questions or concerns. We offer a wide range of work including foundation damage, cracks, sinking, deteriorating, settlement, undermining, undersized, crawl space moisture, rotten floor joists/girders, cracked joist/girders, rebuilding/repairing piers, floor lifting & leveling, structural repairs, termite damage repairs, helical pilings, demolition and structural repairs.
